Lies, damned lies, and the BBC

Aunty Beeb continues her sad decline into lefty-induced institutional Alzheimers, as she posts this shocking exposé on child porn.

Apparently, 50% of paedophile content worldwide is produced in the US. Or posted there. Or just copied from servers in other countries. They don’t tell us, probably because it didn’t occur to them to ask.

Nor do they find room to note that over 80% of all other internet content comes from the US.

Comparing those two stats, by implication, it is foreigners of various stripes who are disproportionately active in turning out this stomach-churning filth. After all, practically all of Russia’s web output is child porn and horse-fucking hookers. Yet for some reason the BBC’s chosen headline is “US 'worst' for online child abuse” rather than “Everyone else really into kiddie-diddling”.

It’s probably too much to ask for them to hire the occasional Atlanticist, but the least they could do is find people who can count…

Update! Le Monde joins the fray, proclaiming the US to be the world’s greatest exporter of spam emails. Well, duuuuh. Bit rich of them to complain, when they’re always moaning that no-one in America speaks their bloody language. Either give the Yanks some credit or blame the Quebecois, you whiny bastards…

The source of all evil, yesterday. Depraved non-American pornographers not pictured.

I never believe these statistics. If someone told me 50% of Peruvian men have had sex with a llama, I'd ask him to show me the llama that was just a damned whore.

My own unscientific study of the subject has concluded the following: Most Googlers of the term "child bride" (with assorted modifiers - Safe T has been especially helpful there by including words such as penis and suck in his commentary) hail from the Philipinnes or the Middle East, with Saudi Arabia topping the list. Interestingly the only person/people I've ever had from the Ukraine are looking for child brides too.

GB, the llama in question now resides at a home for fallen llamas on 1234 Sorry Lane, Santa Barbara. She can be contacted about statistical queries at www.myperuvianhell.com

Lofász a seggedbe indeed, eh what, János?

Well, GB, one mustn't be too hard on the weak-kneed men of Peru. After all, if alpaca wool is anything to go by, the llama is the goat's long-legged cousin, and even silkier to boot. Frankly they're asking for it, dressed like that.

Sam, no surprises in your list of top child bride enthusiasts. The Saudis for one are just following the noble example of their prophet in this, as in all the other wholly indefensible things they get up to. The Ukrainians are a bit of a surprise, tho' - unless of course they were selling, not buying.

And Canty, yes indeed - now you come to mention it, Hungarians are no slackers in that kind of content either. Must be boring out there all alone on the Puszta, eh?

Or, as I like to call it, the Putza.

Ivan the Terrible said...

Because they're all putzes? A little harsh, surely...

Cantemir said...

No, no. "Putza" is Romanian for fasz. (Well, it's an approximation. The t has a comma underneath.)

Ivan the Terrible said...

Oh, well, that's all right then. That's much better than putz.

Come to think of it, that's what putz means in Yiddish too. Better not tell the Hungarians.

So there was this temple in Haifa, and it was customary each year for the president to ride around on a camel once a year in order to remember the camels of the Patriarchs.

One year, the president complained to the rabbit that next year he was going to have to get a girl camel.

The rabbi asked, "Whatever for?"

The president said, "The whole time I was riding, I heard everyone in the crowd saying..."

Oh God, rabbit. That's divine justice upon my blasphemy.

That old man in the hat looks a little pervy to me.
