Where’s the beef?

Evo Morales, Bolivia’s first indigenous president, is doing sterling work in reminding everyone why you shouldn’t elect indigenous presidents. Throwing out all your foreign investors and reverting to total dependence on agriculture is surely the mark of an unhinged mind. After all, narco-traffic aside, cattle raising is the only other source of income they have.

But is he really as crazy as he seems? Now a new and disturbing possibility arises…

Coincidence? I don’t think so.

There's a third person that outhgt to be in that line-up, Ivan:

Morales' unhingedness has nothing to do with him being a native son though. It's socialism that ruined his brain, assuming he has one. As I was telling Footsie, these guys effortlessly fuck up everything they touch. I suppose this may be one of the few times when a coup d'etat is actually desirable in Latin America.

Or maybe Morales has been consuming his own merchandise. As the late Rick James used to say, "cocaine's a helluva drug."

Sounds like Morales just wants it 'his way' which is, after all, the American way. Or it is at BK anyway.

So. et's test just how bad Morales is. Morales or Chavez? If you absolutely HAD to.

If I absolutely had to, I'd appoint Conan O'Brien president of Bolivia. His sister runs Finland these days, by the way:

Or is it Robin Williams' sister? I forget.

Eww. Ghadafi looks like his made out of old handbags, skin included. You'd think all that hummous and healthy living would've left him better preserved.

Morales or Chavez? I'll let you pick first, Aunty. That said, I'd happily do both if I got to do it to them with a splintered broomhandle. Best of all tho' would be to stick 'em in a room with General Pinochet and let nature take its course...

Chavez is yet another failed gorilla imitator. These people just make fools of themselves when they pummel their bald little chests.

Berlusconi once claimed to have seduced Tarja Halonen. I reckon he got re-elected just for that.

The Italians love bravura.

Well, the Conan O'Brien look is very alluring.

Aunty M, seducing a Mrs Doubtfire lookalike is considered a dubious feat in most parts of Italy. Their standards are rather high, you know.

Aw, come on, don't be unfair. By electing a mad idiot President, Bolivia is just showing how much it wants to be like the US. It's meant to be reassuring. Sure, Morales isn't remotely as unhinged or embarrassing as Bush, and won't do as much damage to the Bolivian economy as Bush has done to America's, but hey, they're trying - you've got to give them that.
