Ivan's Site of the Week

Think you’re going to get a lot done today? Think again.

“She really over-reacts whenever she catches me wearing her underwear”

I defy you to leave that site without finishing it or bookmarking it for later…

Mrs Mil Millington, yesterday. Her significant other thinks she’s a bit of a loony. Well, of course she is. She’s German.

it is a nice idea for a site but she has put too much text and too little if any visuals.

This was the site that first led me to blogging.

The bit about the plants in the shower....

And you are likely not alone, Aunty, if the nigh on 4.2 million hits are any guide...

Personally I don't think it's about different nationalities - just different sexes. Just like home.
I agree with yasser that there is too much text but should not 'she' be 'he'?

Hi Pi - the wrong combination of gender and nationality can be a powerful cocktail, as any Ukrainian could tell you :)

And yes, I think Yasser was speed reading there a bit. Or speed writing. No worries.

I warned you. You can't say I didn't warn you. "It'll cost you your life and your soul!" I said. But no-one listens to me.

Well, my work here is done...

It is screamingly funny - are his books any good, or has he simply become Tony Parsons with pink hair d'you know?

His first book was ok - there's a few good laughs in it. Don't know about the later ones.

I've been a fan of Mil's for a few years now. I get the newsletter, have spent hours on the site, and laughed out loud while reading the first book. The others are funny, but not screamingly so. A few yucks, some good summer reading. He's a clever boy.
